The Golden Hour is the first book I’ve read that’s written just by Beatriz Williams although I’ve read her books co-authored with Karen White and Lauren Willig and loved them, which is one of the reasons I really wanted to read this one. The other reason is because I’m fascinated with anything to do with the very intriguing Duchess of /5.
The Golden Hour was a disappointment. I found it hard work to read it. The format of writing the chapters in different three time periods, going back and forth from one to another, is confusing. Added to that, the author refers to both father and son by their last name, Thorpe, makes it even harder to follow.
